Excise Goods

GLB Logistic solutions specializes in the management of customs procedures for excise goods such as spirits, wines and beverages.

Excise goods are considered “controlled goods” for import into the British market; through our expertise on the products, we are able to quantify in advance the excise duty on the shipment and to proceed with customs clearance through the following procedures:

• Custom Procedure Code 0400 : liquidation of duty, VAT and excise directly in import customs declaration.
• Custom Procedure Code 0700 : Clearance of duty and VAT with subsequent shipment of goods under suspension of excise duty to a tax warehouse designated by the recipient.
